Semtech is hiring for the role of Design Engineer II!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Develop & document Test plans based on multiple selection criteria to find customer-centric issues early in the development cycle
- Identify & document toolchains that will maximize automated test executions
- Implement feature additions/enhancements to existing test scenarios
- Do Root cause analysis for the failures and report in the bug tracking system
- Debug performance and reliability issues of the product
- Modify test code to improve performance, enhance stability, and fix defects
- Communicate with team and managers to develop optimal solutions and report progress
Requirements:
- Work experience 2+ years in the following skills:
- Technologies: Python, C
- Platform/Tools: Linux, Windows, Opensource tools, Jenkins test framework, Jira
- Database: MongoDB, Elastic Database, Key-Value Databases
- Tools: Anritsu, Anite, Amari Callbox, Spirent GSS, etc
- Test automation for wireless, telecom, cloud products with exposure to the IOT domain
- Agile development methodologies for software/ system development
