Shiprocket is hiring for the role of Quality Analyst (Automation)!

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and understand requirements.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test reports.
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Ensure test environments are set up properly and configurations are managed efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve automation scripts.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools and trends to enhance testing processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
