Quality Analyst Job in Hyderabad at Shriram Life Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests and analyze results.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Monitor debugging process results and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts).
• Suggest process improvements and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Experience with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, Postman, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Automation experience using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Experience with databases and writing SQL queries.
