Natwest Group is hiring for the role of Quality Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Supporting the Quality Manager and the team in executing the strategy and quality by determining and advising on automated tests at different layers.
  • Promoting continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiencies, maximizing the customer experience, and reducing test cycle time.
  • Improving techniques, tooling, and eliminating waste to create a collaborative, proactive approach to quality in the feature team.
  • Working with quality automation specialists to write automated tests and analyze the results.
  • Executing tests continuously triggered automatically by change events to obtain quick feedback.
  • Reviewing business requirements, design, and specification documents to ensure test requirements are understood and building test plans.
  • Understanding and managing RAIDs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) effectively to prevent late discovery and leakages into production.
  • Providing metrics to the business and the team focusing on quality and quality improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven application of testing methodologies, including Agile testing methods like Test-Driven Development and Behaviour Driven Development.
  • Practical experience in testing ideas, products, designs, planning, and execution.
  • Experience in functional and non-functional testing, including system, system integration, user, load, volume, stress, security, accessibility, compatibility, penetration, and back out.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Agile methodologies with experience in working within an Agile team.
  • Experience in delivering testing activities in a technology or IT function.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the systems development lifecycle.
