Cognizant is hiring for the role of QEA Automation Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Implement and maintain BDD frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create detailed test plans.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Continuously improve test processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages like Java, Python, or C#
• Testing Tools: Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or Appium
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members and stakeholders
• Collaboration: Ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Selenium WebDriver: For browser automation testing
• JUnit/TestNG: For unit testing and test management
• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with tools like Jenkins or Travis CI for continuous integration and deployment
• Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and API testing.
• ISTQB certification or similar.
