Veralto is hiring for the role of QA Engineer I!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of process effectiveness and efficiency
• Design & Build test harnesses for Automation testing for GUI, Web services, and Application reports
• Create/ Maintain the Automation framework/ Infrastructure for the project
• Design technical solutions & assist with solving technical problems when they arise
• Create and upgrade automation test plans for each release
• Drive strategic and tactical decision-making from a technology perspective, including software innovation
• Construct overall & automated test strategies by understanding test automation solutions using industry Best Practices
• Implementation of end-to-end automated testing tools and frameworks using open-source tools and license tools, covering both functional and non-functional area

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or Information Science/Technology or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in testing cross-platform Desktop applications with exposure to test automation frameworks.
• Excellent understanding of automation frameworks, methodology, best practices, and protocols.
• Experience developing and maintaining test suites through formal methods of test design to ensure optimal test coverage.
• Good analytical skills and self-initiative to learn new technologies.
• Knowledge of QA practice both at the conceptual and practical level.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in designing and developing automation test scripts for complex Products.
• Experience developing and maintaining test suites through formal methods of test design to ensure optimal test coverage.
• Strong technical skills to mentor and guide the team members on creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Experience in testing products developed in Web technology and Client / Server (preferably Java).
