QA Engineer Job in Mangalore at Coates Group

Coates Group is hiring for the role of QA Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Working closely with our developers to maintain the quality of our software/product and provide corrective and valuable feedback during our agile software development cycle.
• Helping promote sustainable quality practices to support our fast-changing environment.
• Thinking outside the box to approach different problems.
• Participating in code review providing feedback and raising any concerns if needed.
• Developing and maintaining our automated testing framework.
• Collaborating and sharing knowledge and experience with peers for continuous growth and learning.
• Prioritizing tasks and being able to assess risks and impacts in order to make good decisions.
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into our build pipeline.
• Loading and performance testing.
• Managing and growing the QA practice.

Requirements:

• Experience with JavaScript/NodeJS, TypeScript, Python, Cypress, or other test automation frameworks
• Unix/Linux-like systems - you know your way around a terminal
• Version control with Git - experience with Gitflow, MR, and branching flows
• With a working knowledge of containers, we like Docker
• Load and performance testing – Jmeter, Apache Bench, work, or similar
• Familiarity with Cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
