Kaleris is hiring for the role of QA Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- As part of an agile team, design and execute testing strategies for projects within the delivery program to ensure successful and high-quality product deliverables
- Interpret business requirements and designs, providing analytical assessments on usability, blocking issues, and overall functional and non-functional test approaches
- Performing hands-on functional and non-functional testing for applications within the portfolio with minimal levels of supervision required
- Ensure test standards and processes are followed
- Learn and grow skills and techniques, constantly driving for continuous improvement of yourself and the team
- Overcome test obstacles with a tenacious approach towards ensuring quality for our customers
- Collaborate shoulder to shoulder with the development team and other QA team members
- Mentor junior QA colleagues and others as a subject matter expert of product areas
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of direct QA experience in testing software applications
- Understanding and expert in manual testing techniques and strategies
- Knowledgeable in test automation approaches with some minimal experience\involvement
- Highly collaborative, reliable, and trustworthy skillset
- Experience in decision making, problem solving, and testing full projects end to end
- Able to proactively and appropriately identify risks and properly communicate/escalate risk factors and mitigations
- Strong knowledge of whitebox and blackbox testing techniques
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Positive attitude with proactivity style within current\previous role
- Exemplifies proactive approaches and aspirations for continuous improvement
- Passionate to improve QA technology and approaches
- Comfortable working with global / virtual teams
