Uniphore is hiring for the role of QA Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Input into initial feature/project scoping and effort estimation.
• Collaborating with the Dev team from a testability perspective.
• Design and execute test functions.
• Create/update test documentation and processes.
• Build and maintain test environments.
• Document defects found and retest/review any resolutions.
• Summarize test results.
• Assist support and project office in functional/configuration clarifications.
• Reproduce customer failures where necessary.
• Review the recorder against new handsets/softphones and version upgrades.
• Champion Uniphore’s core values in the business.

Requirements:

• Experience of test techniques like BVA, EP, All-pairs and testing both backend & Web applications.
• Greater than 3 years testing experience ideally in the telecoms industry.
• Basic networking experience including tool like Wireshark.
• Testing Process lifecycle & Defect management Workflow. Azure DevOps/Test Manager, Jira
• Ability to influence and drive best practice both within the test team and within the wider business.
• Understand of usability, accessibility and performance and how key users interact with the product.
• Structured and precise approach to testing and documenting results.
• Good time management and the ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and be an effective problem solver.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to priorities workload and work well under pressure.
• An innovative, self-starter who is self-motivated and confident with excellent commercial acumen
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is desirable.
• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation.
• DevOps experience
