PAR Tech is looking for QA Engineer!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans. Define the scope of testing, including objectives, deliverables, and resources required.
- Create detailed test cases and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications. Ensure that test cases cover all possible scenarios, including positive and negative test cases.
- Execute test cases manually or using automation tools like Selenium, Java, Python, or RPA (if applicable). Report defects and issues, track their resolution, and retest to ensure they are fixed.
- Verify the integrity of data by conducting database testing, which includes data validation, data migration testing, and database performance testing.
- Track and manage defects using bug tracking tools. Work closely with developers to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the overall quality assurance process by adhering to established QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to identify potential quality issues early in the development process.
- Prepare and present test summary reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key findings, test coverage, and quality metrics
Skills Required:
- Should have basic understanding of the SDLC and STLC process.
- Basic knowledge of OOPs concepts, Database.
- Should have strong analytical skills.
- Should have knowledge of QA methodologies, Testing types, and processes.
- Should be able to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and scripts.
- Advantage: Knowledge of any automation tools like selenium, RPA, Java / Python etc.
