TransUnion is hiring for the role of QA Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Able to design and perform test execution on all tests if needed
• Implements necessary test processes on projects, writes test plans, procedures and scripts, analyzes test results; actively recommends process improvements for supported projects
• Provides as a ‘risk owner’- communicates and provides documentation throughout the project lifecycle highlighting potential risks and mitigation plans
• Remains educated on the full suite of test tools, processes and artifacts
• Able to provide constructive feedback to testers both formally and informally
• Implements a risk based testing strategy to ensure production meets customer expectation
• On time delivery with meaningful milestones
• Responsible for identifying Root cause on production issues and implements preventative measures
• Embraces changes and successfully leads non associates for each project
• Manages and leads test strategies across multiple projects
• Builds strong relationship with IT and across business teams
• Ensure sufficient test coverage for all projects typically small to large projects in complexity
• Complete understanding of at least 2 applications including architecture

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Agile and/ or Waterfall methodologies
• Experience with test automation
• Strong use of MS office and test management systems (HP, ALM, JIRA, TFS, IBM, Rational suite)
• Ability to communicate to all levels of leadership
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Demonstrated success with delivering on time with quality
• Adapts quickly to new technologies and processes
