SmartQ is hiring for the role of QA Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Examine and analyze the specifications of the system
• Collaborate closely with developers to devise impactful strategies and formulate comprehensive test plans
• Carry out manual execution of test cases, scrutinize results, and assess product code alignment with specified requirements
• Generate detailed logs to document testing stages and any identified defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams, contributing to issue resolution
• Play a key role in troubleshooting problems and conducting post-release/post-implementation testing
• Demonstrate proficiency in crafting SQL queries
• Engage with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards across the entire software development lifecycle

Requirements:

• Demonstrated proficiency as a Manual Tester with a track record of successful projects
• Proven 1+ years of experience in Manual Testing
• Possess expertise in project management and a solid understanding of QA methodologies Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is advantageous
• Capable of meticulous error documentation and effective troubleshooting
• Proficient in utilizing test management software and adept in SQL
• Strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving aptitude are integral to the role
• Exhibit robust organizational skills
• Educational background includes a degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/BCA/MCA) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
