Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of QA Automation Engineer-Digital enterprise!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks using industry-standard automation tools and programming languages such as Selenium, Java, Python, Appium.
• Collaborate with the QA team to create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for various software components and applications.
• Identify, document, and report software defects, tracking them through to resolution.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing, as well as exploratory testing when necessary.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with software developers to resolve issues and ensure software quality.
• Work with product managers and developers to understand product requirements and contribute to the design of testable features.
• Continuously monitor and analyze test results to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Automate routine tasks related to test data setup, environment provisioning, and result reporting.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to QA automation and software testing.
• Document and maintain test cases, test data, and test procedures for future reference and to facilitate knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or a similar role
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, as well as scripting or programming languages relevant to test automation
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and quality assurance processes
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
