Helios Mutual Funds is hiring for the role of Python Developer – Quantitative Finance!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Code and develop scalable systems for quantitative investment strategies.
- Build and optimize libraries for data processing, analysis, and visualization.
- Implement backtesting tools and live strategy execution workflows.
- Integrate data from financial APIs and manage databases efficiently.
- Translate investment strategies into code and automate processes.
- Develop predictive models and trading algorithms.
- Conduct rigorous testing of models and strategies.
- Maintain documentation and ensure system reliability and scalability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong coding skills in Python with experience in libraries like NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with data pipelines, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and APIs.
- Basic understanding of machine learning and statistical methods.
- 1-3 years of experience in software development or a related field.
- Quantitative aptitude, attention to detail, and a research mindset.
