WEQ Technologies is hiring for the role of Python Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Python and related frameworks.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile platforms.
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Frontend, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver complete, reliable solutions.
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ORM frameworks (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
• Use Docker for containerization and assist in deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications for performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements:

• 2 – 3 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database design.
• Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Good command of Git, Docker, and understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
