Siemens is hiring for the role of Python Developer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications and services using Python.
- Building RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Working with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django to develop scalable solutions.
- Writing clean, efficient, and modular code following software engineering best practices.
- Integrating databases (SQL and NoSQL), ensuring optimized queries and data workflows.
- Implementing authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices for enterprise applications.
- Developing unit tests, performing debugging, and ensuring code quality through reviews and CI/CD workflows.
- Working with containerization technologies like Docker and deploying services in Kubernetes or cloud environments.
- Collaborating with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Optimizing application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintaining proper version control, documentation, and architectural clarity.
- Staying updated on advancements in Python ecosystems, tools, and backend technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Solid understanding of REST API design, microservices, and asynchronous programming (AsyncIO preferred).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker; experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
- Good understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, code quality standards, and testing.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
