GlobalLogic is hiring for the role of Python Developer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using internal tools and programming languages (preferably Python).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements aligned with business objectives and data quality expectations.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows, ensuring they remain accurate and up-to-date with changes in source data, target systems, or business logic.
• Document all ETL processes including architecture, data sources, transformation rules, target systems, and related business logic.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data inconsistencies, ETL performance, and system errors.
• Ensure data integrity, performance, and security in all ETL processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in software development, ETL development, or data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Python programming.
• Solid understanding of Database concepts and proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience in project development using any programming language.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Data Structures.
• Basic understanding of Operating Systems, particularly Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical mindset.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
