Purchasing IT Manager Job at UD Trucks

UD Trucks is hiring for the role of Purchasing IT Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Be a member of the UD PE&G management team and contribute to department development in an active way.
• Be a leader of PU IT systems, take key user roles for IT systems, collaborate with DSIT, business line organization, and Alliance Partners’ IT departments in areas developing/maintaining/changing IT system setup and upgrade, etc.
• Secure to get feedback from business line organizations to optimize IT systems for better effectiveness and efficiency.
• Support both internal and external communication about IT systems.
• Be the main interface towards other functions for matters concerning ways of working in all Purchasing IT systems, contributing to better cross-functional efficiency.
• Be responsible for organizing and performing internal training for the purchasing systems and external training for suppliers.
• Support Purchasing Management requested tasks.
• Support process documentation in the UD Trucks Management System (UDMS).

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration.
• Fluent in English, for both writing and speaking.
• At least 5 years work experience in a global organization and intercultural context.
• A deep understanding of the purchasing governance and process, systems, and relevant purchasing line experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with the kinds of purchasing IT business application systems is preferred.
• Strong Knowledge of IT systems is preferred.
• Strong Coordination competence within purchasing and between Cross Function Team, ability to create networks and to lead cross-functional activities within multi-cultural teams.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Project management skills.
