Purchase Executive Job in Ahmedabad at Gearlinc Systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish long-term relationships.
• Conduct market research to identify new products, materials, and services to meet company requirements.
• Create and process purchase orders based on requisitions from various departments within the organization.
• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, specifications, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Negotiate pricing, discounts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain appropriate stock levels, ensuring smooth production and operations.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that purchased products and materials meet required quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, supplier information, and related documentation.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including vendor performance, cost savings, and inventory levels.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar procurement role.
• Sound knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement software.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
