NCR Cooperation is hiring for the role of PS SW Engineer II!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Building test and production environments in a consistent, automated manner Create and enhance.
• Developing automated deployment pipelines to ship software frequently and reliably
• Creating and managing VMs, images, and containers for deployment to physical or cloud instances.
• Defining processes for deployment of microservices using modern tooling and software Creation of services and dependencies using infrastructure as code.
• Diagnosing and debugging issues within the system or dependencies, working with other teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Creating and enhancing solutions for observability, monitoring, and alerting Develop and review processes in consideration of performance, scalability, and testability Replace repetitive and undocumented manual processes.
• Incorporating changes in deployment pipelines for product features and enhancements Assist in real-time troubleshooting of cloud-application challenges.
• Providing mentorship to new employees working in Agile teams, and participating in Agile process in a collaborative fashion.
• Designing and implementing reports and analytics for application and infrastructure monitoring.
• Working with Product Managers, Project Managers, Services, and supporting departments to understand and implement business requirements that include securities and audit of hosted solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-6 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps system engineering role responsible for Infrastructure and hosting environment
• Proven experience in IT, Application development, or DevOps, including excellent knowledge of networking, computing, and storage
• Experience in cloud technologies like GCP or Azure platform
• Experience with IAC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, scripting language, and Ansible
• Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, antifactory, and Octopus deployment tools
• Good knowledge of cloud functions, compute engine, cloud storage and Kubernetes engine, deployment manager etc
