Emerson is hiring for the role Proposal Tool Design Lead!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancing and modifying Estimating tool logic and develop innovative solutions to complex business problems.
• Manage multiple rules design requirements for different business units to meet specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with various SMEs, collaborators, and internal teams to manage expectations throughout the project.
• Work with collaborators, SMEs, and internal teams to deliver estimation designs based on project requirements.
• Be accountable for various reporting requirements (both internal and external) related to rules design.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of Estimation design, ensuring end-to-end execution of Business Rules.
• Prepare documentation for scope, schedule, user stories, impact analysis, and other project-related aspects.
• Provide strong technical support on rules to other business unit rules designers and the PMO support team.
• Extract logic information and prepare comparisons and demonstrations of estimating solutions according to SME requirements.
• Provide training, demonstrations, and explanations of new features of enterprise-wide solutions to large groups of users, SMEs, and collaborators.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical) or a related field or a master's degree or higher is preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience out of which 3 years of experience in Proposal / Presales is mandatory.
• Experience in logic reading & design will be preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Good logical & analytical skills with modular rules design will be a key.
• Balancing collaborators with work process optimization are needed for driving best results.
• Good presentation & demonstration skills will be plus.
• Mentor & Motivate team to achieve Productivity & engagement.
