Project Test Engineer Job in Bangalore at Siemens

Siemens is hiring for the role of Project Test Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop testing methodologies and become a technical expert for one or more products
• Review project documentation and guide the project leads as requested
• Write Test Plans and Test Designs for projects, and post the documents to the project tracking repository
• Design, build, & document automated & manual test cases, for both project and non-project situations
• Carry out manual testing for the projects you have been assigned as well as system test events; record issues as needed; share the outcomes with your team and higher management.
• Comply with the test process and Quality Control standards & enforce project schedules
• Provide technical support to application engineers, technical documentation writers, customers, or the sales team as requested

Requirements:

• Moderate level of experience using MS Windows required
• A moderate level of experience using UNIX or Linux is a plus!
• Ability to solve complex issues using analytical skills
• Good level of written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple sophisticated projects simultaneously!
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering
• CAD, CAM, CAE, or PDM software experience required
• Experience should be 2 to 5 years
