Asian Paints is hiring for the role of Project Sales Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Conduct planning and analysis for all Project Sales segments and prepare growth plans for each segment.
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives to gain market share with focus on key accounts, segments, geographies, and products.
  • Design and execute interventions to upgrade customers to high-end premium product usage.
  • Maintain strong customer focus and build relationships with key stakeholders such as builders, architects, and consultants.
  • Develop relationships and engage applicators using tools such as loyalty clubs and promotions.
  • Drive applicator business development by understanding their business dynamics.
  • Expand the base of loyal applicators by onboarding new applicators and nurturing existing ones.
  • Achieve value targets across segments, geographies, key accounts, and product categories.
  • Drive growth and retention of the targeted set of applicators.
  • Improve market practices to deliver superior customer experience through initiatives such as contractor professionalization and adoption of automated tools.
  • Liaise with marketing teams by providing feedback, supporting activations, and tracking competitor practices.
  • Improve customer experience through various service initiatives.
  • Work closely with Retail, Services, and Commercial teams to ensure lead generation, timely customer service, budgeted freight costs, and dealer account reconciliation.
  • Analyze and estimate stock requirements and coordinate with Supply Chain for timely material availability.
  • Monitor input utilization within permissible limits.
  • Ensure growth and development of the immediate team.
  • Ensure productive utilization of manpower resources to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing from a Tier II B-School.
  • Minimum 50% marks throughout education with no backlogs.
  • Graduation and post-graduation must be full-time courses.
  • Not applicable.
  • Product knowledge.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Innovative mindset.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Impactful communication.
  • Execution excellence.
  • Ability to lead people.
  • Willingness to be mobile pan-India, as the role is transferable.
  • Role involves extensive travel to different project sites.
