Project Planning Management Engineer Job in Bangalore at Alstom

Alstom is hiring for the role of Project Planning Management Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Define and maintain the project/ program time management plan
• Detail and update the project schedule based on the contractual targets and data provided by all stakeholders
• Propose the project/program baseline, and ensure its acceptance (internally and by the Customer)
• Ensure the consistency of all the internal and external Stakeholders'' commitments, and manage the schedules interfaces
• Organize and lead periodic project schedule sessions
• Participate in project/program core team meetings
• Provide a timely updated schedule situation highlighting the gap between the actual and the baseline
• Focus on early identification of potential delays and risks.
• Prepare schedule and progress reports for customers lead units or partners,
• Develop physical progress with cost and earned value management system for programs
• Prepare the workload and maintain the same in tool to give the correct roadmap for the department
• Provide support to the program/product manager on all issues related to the project schedule, For the reference library, develop and maintain the schedule templates
• Apply the project scheduling process
• Contribute to the return of experience (REX) and improvements, and share best practices.

Requirements:

• AGILE Project Management, IT/Software Program Management Experience preferred
• PMP, IPMA-D, PRINCE, Project Management Certifications etc. preferred
• Good overall knowledge of railway products and systems
• Agility to juggle schedules (internal and customer schedules) simulations and various scenarios) and changing project goals
• Rigorous, structured, and sense of anticipation
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker
• Conflict management and multi-tasking
• Collaborative management
• Be able to challenge the project team and highly proactive in proposing solutions
