WWF India is hiring for the role of Project Officer - Communications!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Develop and draft communication materials such as reports, newsletters, social media content, brochures, case studies, and success stories.
  • Support the design and execution of outreach and awareness campaigns to engage stakeholders, including local communities, government bodies, and partner organizations.
  • Assist in preparing high-quality presentations, briefs, and concept notes for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective coordination among project partners, field teams, and relevant government departments.
  • Maintain communication records and support documentation for project activities, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Support media engagement efforts and liaise with journalists, photographers, and communication partners as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar for project-related communication and outreach initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of communication efforts, providing periodic updates and reports.
  • Assist in organizing events, workshops, and community engagement programs related to the project.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the project lead.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Environmental Studies, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills, with experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Proactive, smart, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Gujarati will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel to project locations
