Project Manager Cognos Job in Pune at Unionsys Technologies

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver Cognos BI/DW projects within scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions and coordinate with business stakeholders to define project objectives.
• Oversee development, testing, deployment, and support phases of Cognos implementations.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies with effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure alignment of deliverables with business requirements and compliance standards.
• Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders and provide progress reports.
• Collaborate with Cognos developers, data architects, and business analysts to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in BI processes and project management practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of IBM Cognos Analytics (reporting, dashboards, framework manager, cubes).
• Experience in BI/DW lifecycle management, ETL, and data integration.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• PMP/Prince2/Agile certification is a plus.
