Hitachi Energy India is hiring for the role of Project Management Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach, and oversee the project handover, execution planning, monitoring, and controlling activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Define, jointly with the project controls department, all project plan documents, including scope, financial plans, schedules, and risk management plans.
• Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and Hitachi Energy policies. Effectively monitor and control project progress and resource utilization.
• Monitor and control project finances, and oversee project invoicing status, costs, expenses, and cash flow. Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage the project's risks and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Capture, analyze, and share lessons learned throughout the project. Ensure that the project is formally closed out as contractually agreed. Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract closeout, and its acknowledgement by the customer.
• Ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with Hitachi Energy policies and contractual agreements.
• Coordinate with supply chain management and successfully procure all required services, materials, and equipment for the projects from external and internal suppliers. Support supply chain management in supplier negotiation claims and project changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering with relevant work experience in managing electrical power and automation projects.
• Should have good project and contract management skills, people management, customer handling, and relationship management.
• Knowledge of the usage of project management tools like MS Projects and others is a must.
• PM certification from a reputed institute, which is an added advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills, as well as knowledge of strategy and operational management, are expected.
• Should be a team player for achieving the business KPI with collaboration.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
