Larsen & Toubro is hiring for the role of Project Engineering Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Candidate should be familiar with supercritical technology of thermal power plant. Should have sound knowledge of various aspects of thermal power plant engineering related to BTG and BTG auxiliary packages.
• Should have reasonably good understanding of basic engineering , detailed engineering and vendor engineering for a supercritical power project. Candidate should be able to comprehend contractual requirement from tender documents and ability to align engineering activities in line with the contract.
• Candidate should be able to deal with cross functional teams, identify issues and ensure quick resolution to meet engineering timelines. Candidate should be able to monitor engineering progress and support in preparation of MPR for customer.
• Should be able to identify key risk and bring to management's notice.
• Candidate should have good understanding of cost aspects of a package and should be keen to optimise BOQs to ensure BOQs are within target BOQs.
• Should have good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders smoothly. 
• Should have sound customer management skill and able to deal with aggressive requirement from customer. 
• Candidate should be dynamic and should be willing to travel to customer's office or vendor's work if needed.
