McDermott International Ltd. is hiring for the role of Project Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• To read, understand and implement the Company’s Health Safety Environmental, and Quality Policy and the arrangements described in the Company Management System.
• Procedures and work instructions about the role are read and understood.
• Familiarization with discipline codes of practice and standards
• Assist in developing Hook Up database, and review of job cards.
• Review contract documentation and extract relevant scope for discipline.
• Review and identify discipline-specific pre-bid clarifications/qualifications, that are relevant to the scope of execution.
• Read and understand design documents, and liaise with engineering for feedback, if any.
• Review and understand shutdown requirements for brownfield scope.
• Develop/Prepare a survey checklist to be carried out during the site visit (for brownfield scope)
• Participate in a pre-engineering survey, and gather discipline-specific information from the site survey. (for brownfield scope)
• Prepare mark-up boundary limits for scope and alignment to System Limits.
• Develop equipment database for SAP inputs.
• Support for HDMS database support.
• Support / Develop and provide inputs to construction work packs for brownfield scope.
• Review discipline-specific QA/QC requirements i.e. inspection schedule, QA/QC walkthrough, line walks.
• Identify and develop a list of discipline-specific special tools required for Hook Up.
• Liaise with hook-up admin team and P&E team to ensure requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree In engineering, any discipline.
• 2-3 years of discipline-specific experience or industry experience
• Communication fluency
• Computer proficient
