ABB is hiring for the role of Project Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
• Perform design calculations including transformer sizing (Power, Distribution, and Converter), Battery and UPS sizing, DG sizing, VFD sizing, earthing calculation, cable sizing, cable tray sizing, lighting calculation, and lightning calculation.
• Prepare data sheets and specifications for equipment used in industries, such as transformers, GCB, bus ducts, MV switchgear (both AIS and GIS), LV switchgear, Battery/UPS systems, VFD, DG sets, cables, cable trays, earthing and lightning protection, and communication equipment.
• Conduct detailed engineering tasks including equipment layout and section design, earthing layout design, cable routing and cable tray layout, preparation of cable schedules and termination schedules, bus duct layout, lighting layout, lightning layout, and switchgear fixing arrangement drawings.
• Develop schematics for Control and Protection Panels, Synchronizing Panels, MV and LV switchgear based on project-specific requirements, including the development of Block Logic Diagrams for MV and LV switchgear.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Minimum 3-8 years of relevant experience for Project Engineer
• Should have worked in at least 2-4 large size projects as Project Engineer
• Pre-Bid Engineering, Bid & Proposal exposure is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in using design tools like earthing, lighting calculation tools etc.,
• Working in a fast-paced environment with short submission deadline.
• Experience in Electrical Engineering FPSO Projects Preferred, commissioning experience of Electrical Equipment's is preferred.
