Molex is hiring for the role of Project Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Read and analyze NX CAD drawings/models and load Engineering/Universal Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP
• Work closely with plants and ensure completion of MM, BOM & Compliance activities in SAP.
• Be responsible for deduplication, classifying, and managing the data stored in Teamcenter. This includes creating data structures, defining attributes, and establishing naming conventions.
• Create specifications, classifications/structure, and maintain technical data for commercial parts in Central Library or Teamcenter.
• Manage the configuration of products and documents in Teamcenter. Control the release and revision of data, manage change requests, and ensure that the correct versions of data are used in projects.
• Interact significantly with fellow Data Stewards, Industrial Engineers, and stakeholders across Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Finance.
• Facilitate collaboration among team members by managing workflows in Teamcenter, reviewing, and approving changes for the parts and ensuring that relevant stakeholders are involved in decision-making processes.
• Plan, prioritize, solve problems, report progress, execute project objectives & meet deadlines
• Perform data quality checks and audits to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data in Teamcenter. They may also resolve data-related issues and discrepancies.
• Audit the parts in SAP for the completeness of material status and Product compliance documents

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/ Industrial/ Chemical/Electrical/Electronics & Communication or similar domains)
• 1-3 years of Industrial knowledge in any large or medium-scale manufacturing organization experienced in Materials Management, Production Planning, Engineering Change Management (ECM) functions are preferred.
• Knowledge of database platforms like SAP, Teamcenter, Silicon Expert, etc. will be an advantage.
• Good product knowledge (Mechanical & Electrical properties)
• Exposure to routing, work center, and cost of a product in the SAP Production Planning module.
• Basic Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance Regulations (REACH or RoHS directives) and different Chemical compositions
• Set up work instructions, Process flows, and SOPs as required to improvise the processes.
• Ability to mass upload data in SAP using LSMW, Batch processing, Quadrate, or other similar tools
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint site, PowerBI, PowerApps, etc.
