Ikea is hiring for the role of Project Development Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Recruit and assemble a project team with requisite skills and expertise to ensure successful project delivery in commercial, construction, and financial aspects.
• Provide support during the conceptual phase by integrating value drivers from Concept Design, Meeting Place Making, Sustainability, and Digital domains.
• Plan and coordinate execution based on agreed concept design and commercial brief, while incorporating leasing inputs and license requirements.
• Foster cooperation across various functions within the organization and with external stakeholders such as regional and local authorities.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation and adaptability among the execution team to meet evolving consumer expectations and tenant requirements.
• Led the Project Team to ensure timely planning, execution, and follow-up of all project processes related to acquisition, concept, design, permitting, leasing, marketing, construction, sustainability, digital, and procurement.
• Ensure smooth handover of development projects to shopping center managers, including relevant documentation, training, and warranties.

Requirements:

• Experienced in progressive property and asset development, including identifying and creating opportunities beyond vacant land
• Capable of thriving both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, excelling under pressure

• Financially adept, enabling effective monitoring of project execution processes and reporting of relevant risks, KPIs, and VPIs to steering bodies
• Proficient in written and spoken English
