Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager Job in Bangalore at Fortive

Fortive is hiring for the role of Project coordinator/Junior Project Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Utilize project coordinator tools effectively for project execution.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) including compliance and marking requirements.
• Use ERP and PLM systems to manage and promote parts to an active state for production handoff.
• Work with Product Managers to create model numbers, SKUs, product names, and related collateral.
• Support engineering change orders (ECOs), new item creation, deviations, first article approvals, and part revisions.
• Manage and navigate ERP, PLM, Jira, and Oracle systems to perform job responsibilities.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, from team members to leadership.
• Act as a change management champion within the team.
• Apply problem-solving methodologies to support project efforts.
• Participate in risk management activities and define risk mitigation strategies.
• Co-lead kaizen events or workshops, utilizing Fluke Business System (FBS) tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with Program Managers to create and monitor project budgets and reporting.
• Understand cross-functional organizational needs and execute tasks for assigned projects.
• Co-lead small-scale projects or medium-scale programs from planning to delivery and closure.

Requirements:

• Experience with software products (SaaS) or engineering support roles.
• Familiarity with Oracle R12 (preferred).
• Prior experience using data management systems, product lifecycle management tools, or ERP systems.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability.
• Understanding of manufacturing flows and processes (preferred).
• Proven problem-solving skills with a mindset for continuous improvement.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across departments and locations.
