Google is hiring for the role of Program Manager, Engineering!

Responsibilities of the Candidate :

• Managing large projects from concept to launching, developing, and coordinating realistic project estimates, plans, and/or metrics. Work and communicate effectively with Engineering, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Operations teams, and customers.
• Managing in-house/outsourced project execution teams with associated processes to ensure successful completion of the program.
• Understand Google products, internal tools, and processes and leverage those to push automation and increase work efficiency. Drive people management and contribute to the program management community.
• Monitoring, measuring, and communicating project progress, potential risks/delays, and team performance to Program teams, executives, and other sponsors. Lead cross-office collaboration and resolve any site-related differences.
• Contributing to global company-wide planning processes that include budgeting, project prioritization, headcount planning, forecast management, and variance analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in Process Improvement, Vendor Management, Budget Planning, Stakeholder Management, or cross-functional program management.
• Experience in program management, operations management, and project planning.
• Experience in defining measurements and data quality metrics.
• Experience in mapping technologies and or mapping operations.
• Experience in process improvement, lean, Six Sigma, and agile.
• Technical acumen and business communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate analysis insight.
