Key Responsibilities
- Leading Project success - Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget in coordination with the team which includes, but not limited to
1. Registration
- Outreach Plan: Crafting and executing outreach plan keeping the target audience in mind to reach the defined targets.
- Number of Participants: Keep track of participants, such as startups, professionals, freelancers, and students, who register and attend the hackathons.
- Diversity of Participants: Ensure a well-rounded and inclusive event by measuring the diversity of participants in terms of skills, expertise, industry, and location.
- Number of Teams: Monitor the number of teams formed during the hackathon, as this reflects the level of collaboration and networking among participants.
2. Idea Submission and POCs
- Hackathon Retention Rate: Calculate the percentage of participants who stay engaged throughout the hackathon, indicating the event's overall appeal and effectiveness.
- Innovation and Impact: Number of Projects Submitted: Track the number of projects or ideas submitted by participants, reflecting the level of creativity and innovation generated.
- Quality of Projects: Assess the submitted projects according to their originality, feasibility, potential impact, and other criteria specified by each initiative.
- Number of Solutions Implemented: Monitor the number of projects successfully implemented, demonstrating the hackathon's real-world impact and value.
3. Client Experience and Success
- Collect feedback from clients and partners to gauge their satisfaction with the event and its outcomes, which is crucial for maintaining long-term relationships and securing future support.
- Number of New Partnerships: Measure the number of new partnerships formed due to the hackathon, College and community Partnership signifying the event's success in fostering collaboration and networking opportunities.
4. Brand Awareness and Growth
- Crafting Marketing Plans: Crafting project specific marketing plans keeping the target audience in mind.
- Discord/Social Media Engagement: Assess the hackathon's reach and visibility by monitoring social media engagement, including likes, shares, and comments.
- Website Traffic: Measure the impact on overall brand awareness by tracking unique visitors, page views, and session duration on the Hack2skill website during and after the hackathon.
- Post-Event Surveys: Conduct surveys to gather participant feedback and measure overall satisfaction with the hackathon experience.
5. Coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinating with internal resources like Marketing, PR, Communications, tech, Creative, and Sales departments for flawless execution.
- Ensuring resource availability and allocation and developing a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Coordinating with third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensuring smooth launch of the project through website content creation
- Organisation and facilitation of community events.
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
Requirements
- Relevant experience and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering domain.
- Technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in trending technologies and general management skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other project management tools.
- Must have experience in working with Hackathons.
