DXC Technology is hiring for the position of Professional 1 Network Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Maintain and troubleshoot data, voice, or video network hardware and systems
• Provide initial technical support for data, voice, or video networks to customers
• Install and manage network hardware, software, and system data for small networks
• Test and resolve issues with network equipment like routers, switches, and hubs
• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN, WAN, and voice systems
• Create network diagrams to document and communicate network status
• Configure and update various voice and data equipment for improved performance
• Prepare proposal documentation and assist in cost analyses and vendor comparisons

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
• Three or more years of experience in data, voice, or video networks
• Experience working with current local area network systems and technical infrastructure communication issues
• Experience working with current network systems and networking principles, data, voice or video
• Experience working with network software and hardware, data, voice or video
• Experience working with multiple technical platforms
• Possess Department of Defense (DoD) security access and/or DoD security clearance
