Production Support Engineer I Job in Bangalore at Mayhem Studios

Mayhem Studios is hiring for the role of Production Support Engineer I!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Monitor different dashboards (Grafana, GCP Console etc.) and take action on alerts as per SOP, Runbook.
• Perform the first level of analysis on open incidents.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues in different environments.
• Perform High Severity incident handling.
• Perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Set up and maintain Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
• Provide prompt and accurate responses and feedback to customers.
• Prioritize and manage multiple open issues simultaneously.
• Deploy updates and fixes via Jenkins, over multiple environments.
• Get involved in continuous improvement initiatives and identify ways to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
• Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.

Requirements: 

• BTech / BE / MCA (Freshers acceptable)
• Good logical and analytical skills
• Good comprehension skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Linux (Ubuntu)
• GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Kubernetes
• Monitoring Tools
• Good to Have Skills:
  • Scripting - Shell / Python etc.
  • Technical certifications (Unix, GCP, Python, Others)
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Shift: Night Shift
