Production Supervisor / Engineer Job in Chennai at Emerson

Emerson is hiring for the role of Production Supervisor / Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create and maintain a safe work environment.  Be responsible for the maintenance and protection of company property in the assigned work area. 
• Plan daily work assignments and periodic rotations for assigned employees to meet objectives. Delegate routine and a wide variety of tasks at Solenoid coil manufacturing workstations, such as winding, spot-welding, soldering, moulding&Testing, etc.
• Share responsibility and accountability for schedule, quality of product, and safety with direct reports. Set clear objectives and measures and supervise progress and results. 
• Maintain and support ongoing training programs.
• Participating in the development of new or updated training programs is vital. Provide tasks and assignments that challenge and stretch employees’ abilities. Conduct regular discussions with employees on personal development. 
• Conduct timely, effective performance reviews in accordance with company guidelines. Regularly meet one-on-one with assigned employees and provide current, direct, complete, and actionable feedback that is both constructive and positive. 

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 - 5 years of proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in Manufacturing related activities.
• Bachelor’s degree with a Minimum of two (2) years or Diploma with a Minimum(5) years of related experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Suites such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• B.E/B. Tech /Diploma or any Equivalent degree.
• Deliver clear, problem-focused communication.
