Next Big Innovations Lab is hiring for the role of Production Quality Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Quality Control and Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections and quality control checks of bioprinters and components during various stages of the production process.
• Testing and Validation: Perform rigorous testing and validation of bioprinting equipment to ensure they meet performance specifications, industry standards, and customer expectations.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate, document, and resolve quality issues, working closely with the production team to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
• Training and Collaboration: Provide quality-related training to production staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of quality and excellence.
• Supplier Quality: Assist in evaluating and monitoring the quality of materials and components supplied, ensuring they meet required standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the bioprinting, medical device, or related biotechnology industry
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, audits, quality control procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements in the biotechnology or medical device sector
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide practical solutions
• Proficiency in quality management systems and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Quality Management, or a related field
