BNP Paribas is hiring for the role of Production Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Responsible for resolving support issues by using his technical expertise and flexible enough to look for solutions that may be out of the box, industrialize the solution for everybody
• Responsible with other Infrastructure teams on patching & upgrade of servers (Linux, Win, AIX)
• Providing coaching and mentoring to junior colleagues, transferring skills and expertise as required.
• Analyze/Document problems, recommending solutions, and initiating corrective action
• Handling ITIL methodologies such as Change, Incident, Problem, and Service Management to address the production activities if required

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Application Production Support   (technical and functional)
• A person must have expertise in Linux and/or Windows OS
• Expertise in scripting, well knowledge of Ansible
• Hands-on knowledge in MS-SQL/SQL/Oracle
• Able to understand the Stored Procedure logic
• Knowledge of Dynatrace
• Having technical and/or functional knowledge in Cash Management (collecting and managing cash flows/clearing/swift/cutoff) would be appreciated
• Resource should be comfortable in working shifts - morning/evening/general, on-call weekends and holidays.
