Production Engineer Job in Bangalore at ExxonMobil

ExxonMobil is hiring for the role of Production Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with engineers and operators on global teams to analyze well/field performance and advise on production optimization 
• Integrate with adjacent disciplines (reservoir, facilities, wells, operations) to execute opportunities for production debottlenecking, operations schedule optimization
• Support operator teams for operations schedule optimization, capacity enhancement, production planning and downtime optimization
• Conduct regular system surveillance for production and injection wells to identify and optimize opportunities
• Assess the impact of identified system constraints, monitor and troubleshoot facility balance at field/platform/well level 
• Conduct screening economic evaluations of well intervention and stimulation operations
• Manage production data, measurement and allocation of quality assurance
• Build/sustain proprietary production engineering technology

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university in petroleum/chemical/mechanical/other relevant engineering disciplines with a minimum GPA of 7.0
• Experience in production surveillance, troubleshooting, and optimization of well and field performance
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate critical operating parameters through data and trend analysis
• Hands-on experience with proprietary or vendor engineering analysis tools within the experience domain
• Mentorship and team leadership experience will be an advantage
• Experience with Engineering Applications such as IPM (GAP, PROSPER, Resolve), OFM and Hysys 
• Experience with data visualization software (e.g. Power BI, SeeQ, XHQ) 
• Experience in Production database management (e.g. Energy Components, PL/SQL)
• Knowledge of basic concepts including:
  • Inflow/outflow/flowline modeling
  • Production well testing and allocation principles
  • Network modeling and facilities operations
  • Well design, completion, and stimulation technologies
  • Artificial lift methods and systems
  • Reservoir surveillance
