Production Internship in Mumbai at Arrow Electricals India Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities to meet production targets.
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Monitor production lines to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production tasks.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to refine product designs for manufacturability.
• Inspect and test electrical components and systems to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
• Address production defects, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain quality control documentation and ensure compliance with ISO or other relevant standards.
• Lead and motivate production staff, providing training and technical guidance as needed.
• Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure production equipment remains in optimal working condition.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to workplace health and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies during production activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring systems, and production techniques.
• Proficiency in using production planning tools and software (e.g., ERP systems).
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and lean manufacturing practices.
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools and equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
• Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues effectively.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
