Product Selection and Quoting- Specialist Job in Pune at Emerson

Emerson is hiring for the role of Product Selection and Quoting- Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Review and process multiple RFQs to determine customer application requirements and suitability of Emerson product offering to meet or exceed customer needs
• Utilize product and application knowledge of Emerson products and services to size and select the most suitable valves (from eleven product lines) and to offer alternates where applicable
• Communicate with Engineering and Product Management to obtain needed technical support, coupled with Purchasing and Suppliers to secure pricing and quotes
• Employ professional and technical expertise to effectively problem-solve and aptly answer questions for products, services, and pricing solutions; navigate Emerson resources to determine accurate answers and ensure timely follow-up
• Provide support to the Company Delegation of Authority (DOA) policy and assist in the management of product profitability
• Provide support to teams developing and maintaining internal processes and reporting requirements
• Interact with the relevant sales and operations functions and third-party vendors to ensure 100% quote accuracy and meet customers’ expectations
• Review, validate, and ensure customer purchase orders are in line with our quotes and proposals
• Conduct a handover meeting with order/project management and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of quotations

Requirements:

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to establish priorities and multitask
• Demonstrated teamwork or ability to work in a team environment
• Engineering Degree or equivalent field
