Product & Quality Analyst Job in Gurgaon at PTC

PTC is hiring for the role of Product & Quality Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understand business objectives and develop models that help to achieve them.
• Apply mathematical solutions to real-world problems.
• Build on a working knowledge of QA test plans and test case writing using design notes and functional specifications.
• Become proficient at test plan execution, automation, and result communication.
• Work with the development team to build rapid prototypes and be able to produce test plans and automation to support delivery.
• Develop and execute software test plans to ensure software quality.
• Advocate for the end user.
• Be agile and able to shift focus as priorities change.
• Ensure the product meets security standards.
• Continue to learn and grow by training in development practices, quality assurance, security, and other areas.
• Contribute to team retrospectives to help improve the team.
• Communicate well with the team using in-person, online meetings, phone, and chat.
• Hunt bugs, identify issues and report them. Ensure all the issues are resolved.
• Help devise ways to fix bugs to ensure the software works properly.
• Work with support and customers to investigate issues, identify bugs, and provide workarounds.
• They must be able to identify bugs and usability issues and communicate them to the development team.
• Monitor performance metrics to assess the product's performance over time and identify areas that need attention or improvement.
• Validate our solutions to meet our customers’ needs.
• Understand ML/data science algorithms used to achieve our business objectives.
• Educate the broader group on our machine learning/data science solutions.
• Participate in the planning of content for each sprint and release.
• Analyse our customers and how they configure their data to understand how to improve the product and delight users.
• Follow QA best practices and be the advocate for a structured and well-designed QA approach to test automation.

• Master’s in Mathematics/Statistics/Operations Research from a reputed university
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis
