Redbus is hiring for the role of Product Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the hotels category, aligning with overall company objectives.
• Define short-term and long-term goals to drive growth and enhance user experience.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape in the hotel booking industry.
• Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and prioritize product features.
• Product Development: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize feature development, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
• User Experience Optimization: Continuously monitor user feedback, conduct usability testing, and analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for improving the hotel booking experience. Implement enhancements to drive higher conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
• Performance Tracking and Analytics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the hotels category and establish metrics to measure success.
• Regularly monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and derive actionable insights to optimize product performance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, business finance, and revenue teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns to drive user acquisition and retention for the hotels category.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress updates effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
• Build consensus, gather feedback, and foster a collaborative environment to ensure alignment and support for the hotel initiative

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the travel industry, particularly in the hotel booking segment, with knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, etc
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Very high user empathy
• B.Tech with MBA from a premier school
