Product Manager Job in Bangalore at Alcon

Alcon is hiring for the role of Product Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Manage team
• Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and the development team to define and prioritize project requirements, goals, and scope
• Manage and adapt the project roadmap, ensuring that the project is delivered on time
• Collaborates with the Global Product Director, Global Product Experience Manager, and other Product Owners to shape end-to-end product strategy and business value of their feature set
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and act as business/technical SME
• Utilize market and industry knowledge to coordinate translation of user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA, 2-3 sprints ahead
• Collaborates with Product Director and designers to integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to ensure customer-driven design
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, SAP, Customer Master/ Salesforce & Digital Health Suite/Smart Cataract)
• Reviews and approves test cases and test runs prepared by Test Leads
• Coordinates early estimation of Epics and Stories
• Serves as the day-to-day contact for the engineering team on clarification of requirements
• Supports the Global Product Director in collaborating with other teams and leadership to ensure team strategy aligns with the overall product vision
• Approves JIRA ticket demos from engineering
• Prepare and give demos to businesses along with the Global Product Director
• Works closely with the Global Product Director on priorities and day-to-day decision-making.

Requirements:

• Previous Product Owner experience (about 3 years)
• A software development background
• Be comfortable working with cross-functional teams (different time zones/ work across global)
• A deep understanding and experience with Agile Methodologies
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Stakeholder management experience
• Great communication skills, and speak and write English fluently
• Experience within Jira
• Any SCRUM or equivalent certificate for the Product Owner or other
• Medical background/ pharma and the life sciences
• Independent
• Flexible (working hours-different time zones)
