Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Contribute to the development of analytics strategies and programs for regional and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value.
• Provide creative input on projects across various industries and problem statements.
• Collaborate with Mastercard teams to understand clients’ needs, agenda, and risks.
• Develop working relationships with client analysts/managers, acting as a trusted and reliable partner.
• Translate deep customer understanding into products and solutions that drive significant value.
• Set product direction with a holistic approach, ensuring alignment across products to serve customer needs.
• Develop, upgrade, and deliver scalable Business Intelligence products tailored to regional needs and customer segments.
• Independently identify trends, patterns, issues, and anomalies in analysis and synthesize findings to highlight relevant insights.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for product usage, problem-solving, and continuous enhancement.
• Support product strategy, including the distribution of reporting products through platforms.
• Collaborate with the Global Product Management team to prioritize development efforts in line with product strategy.
• Build strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve product goals.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree with experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Proficiency in diverse analytic tools (e.g., SQL) for delivering scaled analytic products.
• Experience building, managing, and maintaining database structures and working with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Proficiency with Hadoop framework and coding using Impala, Hive, or PySpark.
• Ability to analyze large datasets, synthesize findings, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strategic mindset to solve complex and ambiguous problems.
• Understanding of competitive offerings, industry trends, and self-service analytics space.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client interactions.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
• Knowledge of product management tools such as market and product plans, project timelines, marketing research, pricing, and business case development.
