SumoLogic is hiring for the role of Product Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Building and improving backend systems that handle petabyte-scale data using technologies like Java, Scala, or Go, specifically for a multi-tenant architecture in AWS.
- Driving technical delivery from ideation and prototyping to production deployment and operations.
- Ensuring maximum performance, reliability, and responsiveness of services, including identifying bottlenecks and conducting code reviews.
- Partnering with Product Management, UI/UX, and AI/ML teams to define roadmaps and build new features, while mentoring junior engineers.
- Tackling complex challenges in data ingestion, indexing, and querying.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, TypeScript, or similar
- Experience with cloud-native platforms and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of distributed systems, containerization, and DevOps best practices
- A strong sense of ownership and an eagerness to collaborate across teams
