Product Detail Designer Job in Pune at Siemens Energy

Siemens Energy is hiring for the role of Product Detail Designer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Create component detail drawings and bills of materials for centrifugal compressors that include components such as bearings, seals, stationary, and rotating components, as applicable to the specific product line
• Detail drawings/models utilizing correct and economical methods of manufacturing machined and fabricated parts. Ensure Form, Fit, and Function logic is followed.  Ensure mating parts are considered before releasing to production
• Utilize the correct method of dimensioning in compliance with drafting standard
• Self-check for accuracy of all drawings, layouts, and bills of material
• Check vendor drawings as required
• Assist factory inspector and Product Design Engineer in disposition of non-conformances of parts
• Participate in Process Improvement
• Understand and incorporate basic specs, standards, and design criteria provided

Requirements:

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and individually with the same enthusiasm and intensity
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
• Possess and demonstrate a high degree of tact and professionalism; and be capable of interacting with Management, Peers, Shop Personnel, Inside Sales, and SCM
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Solid computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic 2D/3D CAD
