Shaadi.com is hiring for the role of Product Designer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Collaborate with the product team to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for this new initiative.
• Conduct user research to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points within the target domain.
• Translate user insights into innovative design concepts, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Explore and experiment with new interaction paradigms and design trends.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups and UI designs that are aligned with our brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Design intuitive and engaging user experiences that are both effective and enjoyable.
• Create user interfaces that are clear, concise, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Contribute to the development of design systems and component libraries for the new product.
• Present design solutions to stakeholders, effectively communicating design rationale and user-centered considerations.
• Actively participate in design critiques, providing and receiving constructive feedback to iteratively improve designs.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented effectively.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of designing successful user interfaces for digital products.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and a variety of projects, demonstrating your multi-disciplinary skills.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
• A passion for emerging technologies and a strong interest in shaping the future of digital experiences.
• Experience designing for diverse platforms (web, mobile, voice, etc.).
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with user research methods and data analysis.
